The City of Portsmouth Boys' School is proposing to make some alterations to its admission policy for the 2012/2013 academic year.

The major change is the removal of the ‘quota system’ which some parents have told us they find confusing and which therefore acted as a disincentive to putting City Boys’ as their first choice.

The new policy conforms to National and Local Authority guidance and will take effect from Friday 15th April 2011.
