It is the goal of the Governing Body to make City Boys’ the school in Portsmouth boys automatically think of when Secondary School is mentioned. Everything is planned around making learning attractive to boys and relevant to them.

The Governing Body is made up of parents, teachers and members of the Community from all walks of life and continually tries to challenge and extend the range of subjects available. After all, it is during our school days that we learn to work as part of a team, working both as individuals and as a group, to achieve our objectives.

The Governing Body is involved in all aspects of school life and strives for better results, year on year, as well as ensuring that we achieve value for money. We are eager to ensure that the Governing Body is both gender and ethnicity balanced and that boys leave with the life skills they will need.

We would love to have more contact with “Old Boys” of the school and to hear of their achievements. This will provide an incentive for us all. Please contact me if you feel you can help with our aims.
